Prevention Palooza
OIC of New Britain’s first-ever STEMFest will be featured at New Britain’s Prevention Palooza. This is an opportunity to inspire and engage youth in our community by exploring STEM in ways they’ve never imagined. Prevention Palooza is a fun, FREE community event that raises awareness for substance use, prevention, and mental health with performances, music, games, food, giveaways, local resources, and more!

Back to School Bash
New Britain Youth Prevention is kicking off the school year with a bang! Join us for a day of family fun, entertainment, and valuable resources at our Back to School Bash. This free event is designed to empower our youth and equip them with the tools for a successful school year.
Enjoy a variety of exciting activities, including:

- Thrilling games and face painting for all ages
- Live music and entertainment to get you moving

Lights On Afterschool
Lights On Afterschool is an annual nationwide event that celebrates afterschool programs and the impact these programs have on students, families, and local communities. Since the start of this event in October 2000, the effort has become a pillar of the afterschool movement and generates media coverage across the country each year.
