30-DAY SUBSTANCE USE
SUBSTANCES OF CONCERN
Parents, Bee Responsible! Home is the #1 place where youth access alcohol. Your kids listen to you, so set clear rules and limit access. Parent and child relationships matter when talking about risks of substances.
SUCCESS OF PREVENTION
ALCOHOL
Only 2% of youth report that they drink alcohol. Not everyone drinks alcohol!
VAPING
3/4 of students recognize that vaping is harmful to their bodies. Vaping is perceived as harmful!
MENTAL HEALTH
84% of youth have a trusted adult in their lives. You are not alone!
3 out of 4 youth report that they feel safe in our community. We are a safe community!
MARIJUANA
We have made great strides, but perception of marijuana risk is low in our community. Parents, we need your help to focus on this topic as it will continue to be an issue with marijuana legalization and the beginning of recreational marijuana sales. Educate your kids on the harmful effects of marijuana use.
