Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of New Britain is a nonprofit organization providing community services through federal, state and local funding sources. They are committed to helping those with barriers to self-sufficiency through their Young Adult Workforce Development initiatives, as well as providing youth career awareness and readiness programming to middle and high school students.
The Human Resources Agency of New Britain, Inc. is a multi-service nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing economic self-sufficiency among individuals and families residing in greater New Britain, Bristol and surrounding towns. HRA's five program divisions house its wide variety of services: early childhood education, community and neighborhood, employment and training, energy and housing, and health and wellness.

ParaDYM Academy provides hands-on STEAM programs that combine the arts, technology, and community engagement. The American Savings Foundation is a permanent charitable endowment which provides grants to local nonprofit organizations, in addition to college scholarships to area students. Community Mental Health Affiliates, Inc., (CMHA) is a leading provider of an integrated health and behavioral health care system for children, families, and adults. The New Britain YWCA combines programming and advocacy to generate institutional change in three key areas: racial justice and civil rights, empowerment and economic advancement of women and girls, and health and safety of women and girls.
The Boys and Girls Club of New Britain, the 17th oldest Club nationwide, was founded in 1891, adding girls to the Club in 1991 to provide a nurturing, adult-supervised environment for young people from ages 6 to 18. The Club has played a leadership role in the community for over a hundred years, strengthening families, neighborhoods, and the City, in good times and bad, by enabling all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
The mission of Pathways/Senderos is to eliminate teen pregnancy by addressing its root causes, assuring high school graduation, and promoting adult self-sufficiency. They provide long-term, comprehensive, holistic service by creating a parallel family structure with neighborhood youth and parents.
